Since its launch late last year, the Samsung NC10 netbook has been topping many bestsellers' charts (occasionally overtaking the popular Asus Eee Netbook). If you have laid eyes on one of these netbooks before, it is easy to see why. The Samsung NC10 is just one of the best-looking netbooks in the market today.
For the last couple of years Samsung has been rolling out a whole slew of very stylish tech gadgets. The Samsung NC10 netbook is one of them. To back up its good looks, this model comes with a range of very competent specs. It has an Intel Atom Processor (N270 1.6Ghz), 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. In terms of connectivity, it comes with wi-fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0. The 6-cell battery can give up to 8 hours in battery life.
The biggest selling factor of this model its design, especially on the Blue model. Except for the keyboard (which is black in color), the entire external casing of the Samsung NC10 netbook is blue in color. The outer casing has a glossy blue surface with the Samsung logo etched in tiny fonts in the middle. The inner casing (around the keyboard and display bezel) is in a shade of matte blue for practical purposes. The shades of blue are then nicely contrasted with two silver hinges.
Among the hundreds of laptops and computers that I have reviewed over the years, the Samsung NC10 netbook has the most impressive track record and the most amount of raving reviews, whether it is in terms of design of function. At the time this review was written, it retails for a competitive pricing of about $329 each.
